Donations and Support
Our Saint Francis Kitchen donations
now cover the cost of being Host for five days. Nativity will therefore
be "Host for A Day" at Saint Francis Kitchen on May 20, May 21, June 10,
June 11, and July 9. We will need four or five volunteers to assist in
serving the meals each day we are hosting. Anyone willing to do so is asked
to call Joanie at the rectory. THANK YOU to those who have made donations
and to all who have called to offer their assistance.
We would like to thank Bob
& Arlene Lambert and Joe & Susan Earyes for their commitment as
co-chairpersons for Nativity Summer Festival 2000, and we wish them the
best of luck as they prepare for this annual event. Bob, Arlene,
Joe and Susan will be asking for your help in making Festival 2000 a success.
Please prayerfully consider your response to their appeal. It may
seem early to start thinking about August, but this is a crucial time in
preparing for a successful festival. Further information will follow
in our weekly bulletins. |

Confirmation will be celebrated
on Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at 7:00 p.m.

Parish Pastoral Council
The Parish Pastoral Council members
have been installed. The first meeting of the Council will be held on Monday,
May 1, 2000, at 7:00 p.m. in the rectory. The members will discuss their
involvement on the Council and and the status and needs of the Parish at
this time. The members will also formally organize the workings of the
Council at this meeting. |
